  I liked the hotel.

  The rediculous amount held over on my credit card as 'security' - NEVER happened at any other hotel. I had booked two rooms (one in another surname - Kennedy) and you held $500 which didnt get returned to my credit card for three days.

  I like the most its interior design specially in lobby. The rooms are comfortable and clean.

  The spa is almost far from pool and pool doesn't have any shower. Cleaning the rooms are not sufficient enough. The room's balcony was locked.

  The entire staff is superb. During the past 2 years I have stayed at the Westin Prince on three occasions, with each visit lasting between 10 days and 2 weeks. During each of those visits - summer, winter, or spring - I feel as though I'm being welcomed home. The entire staff is highly professional, knowledgeable, hugely helpful and friendly; these wonderful traits are evident in all staff from the front desk, to the restaurant, the fitness room, the housekeeping staff, the doormen...everyone. The staff at the Westin Prince could run a clinic on how to provide excellent customer service.

  One aestheic point: there was a noticable amount of litter in the parking lot, on the front lawn, and in the flower beds and bushes near the front of the hotel. This detracted from the overall impression of the property. However, the interior is spotless.

  Was well located for my functions

  Initial room given did not correspond to what I reserved, was switched next day to a more adequate room. Internet connection available at $10 daily, a very significant inconvenience, parking not included in hotel price. The rooms were comfortable, but poor decorations. Carpets old. Food served in room was of fairly poor quality.

  Beautiful surroundings with surprisingly large and private grounds for so close to the city. Fairly close to cycling trails in Sunnybrook Park, Edwards Gardens etc. Lots of interesting restaurants within easy walking distance. The attractive outdoor pool setting looked as if it would give the hotel a real resort feel in summer, although, like most hotel outdoor pools, it closed after Labour Day. Excellent fresh buffet breakfast - worth the price.

  Clean and comfortable room - but very noisy air conditioner. Luckily the nights were cooler at the time of year we visited, so we were able to switch it off and open the window the small gap allowed. More tourist information would be helpful -e.g. comprehensive Toronto cycle maps etc. although staff did their best through internet. Hotel restaurant menus in rooms would also help us make informed choices for dining.

  We found the hotel to be excellent in every respect. The room was beautifully clean and the staff helpful in every respect. We were always greeted by the concierge/ doormen when we entered or left the hotel and nothing was too much trouble for anybody. Service in the restaurant was excellent and the food enjoyable. The bed was extremely comfortable and we slept well every night.

  Very difficult to find any drawbacks. The only hitch during our stay was that one evening the gas supply was off to the kitchen which meant they had to provide a stand-by menu. We were warned before we took our seats, but unfortunately we weren't aware of a reasonable alternative venue in easy reach of the hotel; we were satisfied with what they were able to provide.

  Heated bathroom floors were great and I absolutely LOVED the mini fridge in the room! Comfortable bed, spacious room. Perfect!

  Community hot tub was only 93 degrees - a little chilly for most people.

  We were going to a friends wedding that was in the area and the location of the hotel was great. We also found that it was close to quite a few of the places we wanted to visit such as the botanical gardens. I put in a request for no strong cleaning chemicals because I have asthma and found that the hotel was extremely accomodating and this made my stay more comfortable for me. It was a really nice hotel with good food. We would definitely stay there again.
